If any of the files is damaged which results in corrupted and outdated drivers, errors will occur on your computer endlessly.
Your system will also generate a driver error message when the computer enters standby or hibernate mode.
This BIOS software is generally protected and secured by some password.

Hopefully ye experts will be able to understand my gibberish lol.
EDIT: oh and I forgot to mention, I'm open to suggestions if you guys think I should get a different SSD.
EDIT: I haven't bought it yet, so i'm open to suggestions if you think I should buy a different SDD.Also, as I said I'm building a new computer, and if the USB/CD method indeed does work, can I stick it in the my newly built computer before installing anything(including OS) and be able to run the firmware update toolbox?Or can I connect the SSD to my laptop using some kind of cable, update the firmware there, and stick it in my computer and then proceed to install my freash Windows? I read some people recommending mirroring the OS onto another HDD but that seems to be the most complicated way to do this AND it requires a separate software. Sorry if I'm not being clear, I'm almost completely clueless when it comes to SSD.You can click on View Details in the Drivers page to review the release notes for the specific update to determine if the update will benefit you.WARNING: Dell notebook computers must have the battery installed and also be running on A/C power prior to updating the BIOS.
BIOS is a firmware that is embedded onto the System Board of your computer.
